This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, the server automatically records data in log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, data volume transferred, browser type and operating system. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and fast delivery of the website. Log files are kept only as long as needed for operation and security. A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, of which Vercel is a member, and on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses.
When you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally company, phone or link, your message and the topics you noted) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries. The message is transmitted by a server function at the hosting provider as an email to our mailbox. Our mailbox is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as part of Google Workspace; a data processing agreement is in place with Google. The data is deleted once your enquiry is settled and no statutory retention obligations apply. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
We use Vercel Web Analytics from our hosting provider Vercel Inc. to see which pages are viewed how often. No cookies are set and no data is stored in your browser. The IP address is not stored; from browser data a non-reversible hash is derived for the duration of a visit and discarded at the end of the day. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is improving the website. No link to your person is made.
Without your consent this website sets no cookies, uses no further analytics or tracking services and embeds no content from external providers. Fonts are served from our own server; no connection to font providers is made. Links to social networks are plain links; you only leave our site when you click them. Section 7 applies to our own profiles on those networks. We store your decision about the Google tag (section 6) in your browser's local storage, without a cookie; this storage is technically necessary to respect your choice.
If you consent in the cookie notice, we load the Google tag (gtag.js) of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It measures whether a click on one of our Google ads led to an enquiry via the contact form. Cookies are set (including _ga and _gcl_au) and data such as IP address, browser information, page visited and a random identifier are transmitted to Google; Google may link this data to your Google account if you are signed in. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Without your consent the tag is not loaded and no data is transmitted to Google.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page; the tag will then no longer be loaded, and you can delete cookies already set in your browser. Cookies of the Google tag are stored for up to 90 days (Ads cookies) or up to two years (_ga). Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
We run a company page on LinkedIn and a company profile on Instagram. There we report on our work and can be reached by message.
LinkedIn: the provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. When you visit our page or interact with it, LinkedIn processes your data and provides us with aggregated statistics from it. For these statistics we are joint controllers with LinkedIn (Art. 26 GDPR); the details are set out in LinkedIn's joint controller addendum.
Instagram: the provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. Instagram provides us with aggregated statistics on views and interactions. We assume that we are joint controllers with Meta for these as well; Meta does not provide a separate agreement for Instagram profiles.
We see what you show publicly there or write to us, plus the aggregated statistics. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is informing people about our services and communicating with prospective clients. Cookies, consent and transfers to the USA are the responsibility of the platforms; LinkedIn and Meta are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can exercise your rights (section 8) with us and with the respective platform; the platforms have direct access to the data. Messages you send us there are handled like emails (section 3).

The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
