FAQ.
When is a custom solution worth it?
When the process is your competitive advantage and no standard software covers it without you bending to fit. If the process is interchangeable, we recommend standard, and we say so in the first conversation.
How do you prevent it from becoming a bottomless pit?
Prototype before development, stages with fixed scope, usable results every few weeks. After every stage you decide whether to continue. And we build from building blocks that already run; only the logic in between is custom.
Can we start with a prototype?
That is exactly how we always start. Within days there is something to click on that your department operates. Only when it is clear that it holds do we build.
What about maintenance and further development?
Both are planned in, not tacked on: tests, documentation and monitoring are created with the solution. On request we keep operating it or hand it over to your team, with everything it needs for that.
How does this differ from software development?
Software development is the implementation of a clear requirement. A custom solution begins before that: with the process, with the data, with the question of where AI belongs, and ends only in operation. An end-to-end tool instead of a piece of software.
